  A Kingston East hidden gem for some free family fun and an opportunity to cool things off on a hot Summers day. A wonderful swimming location on the outskirts of Kingston East with plenty of green space and some well maintained playground equipment for the children or even an opportunity to have a last minute or planned picnic outing. Went there during this past Summer (Y-2013) on a few separate occasions since returning to Kingston and had a swim or two at this sand bottom beach area which is located on the St. Lawrence River. It was nice to see so many persons enjoying this Park Area's offer and it was still not overcrowded. A long time since a visit was made to this Park and as a Child I can remember taking a Bus there and back to attend Day Camp during the week.

  Someone who works for the city of Kingston needs to open the public restrooms at Grass creek park . There are many families trying to enjoy the holiday Monday. Shame on the city for not leaving them open!
