  Great atmosphere. Seems a bit pricey for what you get, or rather what you don't get!! Children complained that the French fries didn't taste good. We tasted then, and it's true. Absolutely awful. Chicken as well was tough, overcooked. Salad was blah. The atmosphere gets a 4 star, sadly not the food. In town on a basketball tournament, so very disappointed with our supper! Service was good.

  Best service I have had lately, delicious texan food and large menu, friendly atmosphere - great watermelon lemonade! And price is very reasonable.

  Hi....We just arrived home from supper at the Lone Star....my parents came from out of town and took myself and my son out for my birthday dinner. Sat at the bar while we waited for our table....bartender was great and he was personable. Waitress was good as well....but when we were served our supper, our fajitas were not "sizzling" hot, the chicken was moderately warm. My mother and sons plate were both luke warm at best. The manager came over.... fixed the cold fry situation quite quickly....took our fajita chicken fixings, reheated them and then re- served the same food ..but at least hot this time. By this point we had been there 2 hours. When the bill came we were charged full price after being told that we would see an adjustment on our bill due to a cold dinner. I am so disappointed in my birthday dinner tonight. The server should have caught that the fajitas were not sizzling when being served and the manager should not have "offered" an adjustment on the bill and then not followed through on it. He should have even offered, it should have been automatic in my opinion. Very disappointed in my experience at the Lone Star in Kingston tonight. Margo Gibson
